Tipping the kitchen staff with beer is a new trend that is popping up at restaurants across the United States. “Buy the Kitchen a six-pack” is a menu option, which allows a patron, for $10 or $12, to buy some beers for the kitchen staff as a show of appreciation. One of the restaurants that provides for tipping its kitchen workers is  Twisted Cork Bistro in Omaha, Nebraska.  Twisted Cork, home to the best burger in Nebraska according to according to The Food Network Magazine, offers as an appetizer “Buy the kitchen a six-pack” with a description reading “they work hard, now you can thank them!” Waiterpay is looking for examples of kitchen tipping so we can capture examples of this national trend. Please post any examples of creative tipping on our Facebook or Tweet us with #TipTheKitchen.
