 Uncle Bacala’s, an Italian seafood restaurant in Long Island, New York, is the latest restaurant to be sued by the United States Department of Labor.  The  Complaint, which was filed in the Eastern District of New York on January 21, 2011, alleges that the restaurant paid its workers less than minimum wage and failed to compensate the workers for overtime.  The lawsuit also alleges that the restaurant failed to keep accurate time records for all the hours worked by its employees.
