A comprehensive program at the New York City Bar Association on how to open a restaurant in New York City will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd. The program will focus on the on the corporate, real estate, liquor license, and labor and employment issues involved in opening a restaurant in New York City. Speakers at the program are Jasmine L. Moy of Jasmine L. Moy P.C., Donald Bernstein of Bernstein Redo P.C., Christy L. Reuter of Meister Seelig & Fein LLP, Ilan Weiser of Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP, and Vivianna Morales of Pechman Law Group PLLC. Lou Pechman, founder of Waiterpay.com, is the Program Chair for this event.

One focus of the program will address how to navigate the overtime, sex harassment policies, spread of hours, the 80/20 rule, tip credit, non-compete restrictions, and other important labor and employment issues in the restaurant industry.
