Two waitresses filed suit against Hooters of Long Island in Brooklyn Federal Court charging the company never repaid them the money they laid out for the uniform. The lawsuit was reported on by the Gothamist, New York Daily News and the New York Post. The waitresses are represented by Louis Pechman, founder of Waiter Pay.
