Servers and bartenders were unlawfully required to work “off the clock” according to a lawsuit filed on September 9 in a Florida federal court against Bahama Breeze restaurants. Lawyers for the workers claim that waiters, waitresses, and bartenders at the Bahama Breeze restaurants were required by restaurant management to work off the clock, including time worked through lunch and before and after their regular shifts. The lawsuit seeks unpaid overtime, minimum wage and attorney’s fees as a result of the violation of the workers rights to overtime and minimum wage.
